Hey! My name is Daniel. I am an LGBTQIA+ content creator and variety streamer on Twitch. I began streaming in the fall of 2018, inspired by Critical Role. I love Dungeons and Dragons and I’ve been an avid gamer since I was very young.

Being first inspired by Critical Role, I decided to stream my friends and me playing Dungeons and Dragons casually. I managed to hit affiliate status streaming to a small audience of friends. I felt like my channel was organically undiscoverable during the few months of streaming and with the move back to my home in New York, I put streaming on pause.

After settling in New York with a new job, I found myself a year later in December of 2019 watching clips of an LGBTQIIA+ Streamer playing Overwatch. I started following more channels, using the LGBTQIA+ tag and developed strong bonds with not only people I met in chat but the streamers as well. Twitch became a routine part of my day. I began to learn much about the LGBTQIA+ community and for the first time in my life, I had found like-minded people who were not only like me but shared the same hobbies and interests.

Growing up in upstate New York I didn’t have any friends or acquaintances who were in the LGBTQIA+ community. What truly pushed me to start investing more time into Twitch was that I was craving something I had been missing my entire life as a gay man growing up in upstate New York: Community. In March of 2020, I found the inspiration to start streaming again. With the pandemic, I had a work-from-home opportunity so I began working during the day and streaming at night. It wasn’t long until I found myself growing an amazing community and making so many connections with people across the world.

They all started telling me their stories and I became fascinated with each. I began feeling a sense of accomplishment seeing that I was able to provide that sense of community to others that I had also been searching for in my life; a safe space for people of all different lifestyles to come and be themselves.

Since then, the channel has over three thousand followers, a strong inclusive community on and off Twitch using Discord, made guest appearances on different twitch channels, participated in multiple streaming events, and collectively raised over eight thousand dollars for different organizations and charities in just the first year after beginning my Twitch journey in March of 2020. Now, as a full-time content creator, I am excited to continue the growth and trajectory of the channel.
